Guest Facilities & Services
Enjoy a 70’ plunge down our 300 foot slide. It is thrilling fun for adults and kids alike. The waterslide is open from Memorial Day until Labor Day. The price is included in camping/cabin fee for most (see persons included in rate schedule). See rate schedule for Non-Campers.
Pool & Kiddie Pool
Our pools are conveniently located behind the Ranger station. There is plenty of room to sit in the sun too. Just remember that children
under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
Game room and mini-golf
18 holes of fun-filled mini-golf right by the game room. Make sure you keep score to see if the youngsters win or the parents! Shoot pool or skeeball, play air hockey or video games or challenge your new found friends on the dance machine. Mini-golf is open all year and the game room is open the same hours as the Ranger Station. Tokens can be purchased in the game room.
This is the place to check in when you arrive at the campground. We also have a fully stocked camp store with Yogi Bear™ souvenirs, Jellystone Park clothing, groceries, RV and camping supplies, gift items and of course toys. Be sure to book your next visit with us before you leave. If you need any information or assistance while you are here, this is the place to come.
Snack bar @ the Ranger Station
Hot, delicious Hunt Brothers Pizzas are available inside the Ranger Station. All toppings are no extra charge, except extra cheese. We also have juicy hot dogs, cheesy nachos, cold soft serve ice cream, buttery popcorn, and your all-time favorite slushies. Please check the activities calendar for the times that we offer an all-you-can eat waffle breakfast for a low price!
Do you remember the old drive-in movies? Yogi Bear does and he has created his own version of this favorite American past time. Relax on one of our park benches or bring your own blanket or camping chairs as we show your favorite G and PG rated movies. Movies are shown at the amphitheater 4 or 5 nights a week during summer months. This is the place where we have our famous costume contests during our Fall Festival and Halloween Weekends
Our main playground is located right by the big Pavilion. We also have a playground outside our laundry area – start your clothes and then play while you wait.
This is one of the happening places in the campground. It is located near the Ranger station and will seat approximately 100 people. Many of our recreation activities begin here – including our hey-hey-hey rides. Most every Saturday night you will hear the sounds of the young and not so young as we host karaoke.
In addition to showing movies at the amphitheater, we also play games: have costume contests and other activities here. If you see the sky lit up at night, it might just be our huge bon fire beside the amphitheater. Get your marshmallows and roasting sticks out and come on up. The amphitheater is available for family reunions, rallies, and large groups. Call for reservations and rates today.
Fishing Pond and Gazebo
Bring your fishing pole and see what size bream or catfish that you might catch! Or you may just want to sit on a bench and just relax or catch the breeze under the Gazebo. We have fish food available for sale by the pond… the ducks like it too.
We converted the barnyard to a pet playground. Bring your pets and let them socialize, run and play in our secure fenced area. We request that you do not leave your pets unattended in the Pet Playground.
We have a basketball court, volleyball court and a horseshoe pit area. Come by the Ranger Station for balls and horseshoes that are free of charge. Our recreation staff is always planning softball and kickball games too. Watch the daily schedule for tournaments.
We have 3 comfort stations in the Park. The first one is located at the Ranger Station. It is very convenient for our pool guests. The second one is in the middle of the Park and the third one is at the back of the Park near the primitive area. We pride ourselves on clean comfort stations.
Our laundry facility is open 24 hrs/day April through October and is located at our middle comfort station.
In 2012 we installed a state-of-the-art Wi-Fi system. It is available in all campsites, cabins, and all guest facilities. We also have a DSL line available in the Ranger Station.
Golf cart rentals
Yeah, that hill is kind of steep at times. We have a limited number of golf carts for rent. We recommend reserving at the time you make your reservation. YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD TO RESERVE AND TO DRIVE – NO EXCEPTIONS! Please allow our Rangers to be helping your family have fun and not having to police this policy. Remember, we must set a great example for our children. Mopeds, scooters or 4-wheelers are not allowed in the park.
Personal golf carts are allowed in the park with proof of insurance, valid driver’s license, and the operator must be 21 years or older. All campground golf cart rules apply.
Non-denominational Church services
At 8:30 every Sunday morning during the peak season (Memorial Day to Labor Day), Easter Sunday, and our Halloween weekends, we have a non-denominational Church service at the Pavilion.
Full time recreation staff
Our activities schedules are important to our guests. We have a full-time recreation director that works with our employees all year to plan the events that we have in store for you. Check out our activities schedule on our website. We will add daily schedules closer to each date so check back often.
We ask that you bag all garbage and place in trash containers that are located throughout the Park. Please help us to keep clean and green.
Fire rings and picnic tables
Both are found on every site. Each cabin also has a charcoal grill.
We sell firewood by the bundle at the Ranger Station. We will be happy to deliver if you need a large order – just call the Ranger Station or let one of the Rangers know. Occasionally our staff will ride through the campground selling firewood right at your site. The Commonwealth of Kentucky has found more harmful insects coming into the state on firewood. NO FIREWOOD FROM OUTSIDE KY IS ALLOWED IN THE CAMPGROUND. If you brought some, please keep in the back of your truck. Please help us keep our trees—campers love shade!
We can refill proper propane tanks. Please call or come to the Ranger Station.
If you still have to handle a little work while here, we can assist you with copies or faxes. Just come ask an employee at the Ranger Station.
If you need phone numbers, websites or directions while you are here, one of our employees in the Ranger Station will be happy to assist you. We can even print directions from Map Quest if needed. The Cave City Chamber of Commerce stocks our brochure rack. If you don’t find what you need, we will assist you in any way possible.
Family reunion or group planning
